I'm a journalist and multimedia storyteller, drawn to the space where culture and power collide — whether that's in a written story, a video, or a piece of social content built to move people to act. Whether I'm writing about internet humor, celebrity discourse, or the everyday ways people express themselves online, I'm interested in one throughline: how culture shapes the way institutions see and respond to us.

I'm currently completing my Master's in Journalism at Northwestern University, specializing in magazine writing with a focus on cultural journalism, arts criticism, and audio/podcast storytelling. Before that, I earned my B.A. in Media from Indiana University Bloomington, where I concentrated in fashion media and researched how outlets like The New York Times cover pop culture moments — including a deep dive into the media frenzy around Taylor Swift.

This month, I'm joining Trill Voices as an entertainment journalist intern, where I'll be covering culture and entertainment in real time.

My path into journalism has run through digital campaigns and advocacy communications, where storytelling and multimedia creation have always gone hand in hand. I've written and produced content for organizations like Reproductive Freedom for All, AFSCME, and MoveOn — building emails, landing pages, social campaigns, TikTok videos, memes, and graphics that reached hundreds of thousands of people. Working across formats taught me that a story doesn't stop at the page; it lives in how people see it, share it, and respond to it.
