Videos

As part of my work on AFSCME's digital communications team, I wrote, filmed, and edited short-form video content for the union's TikTok channel — translating labor advocacy and member stories into a format built for scroll-stopping, shareable storytelling. These videos were part of a broader strategy to meet younger audiences where they already are, using humor, clear on-screen text, and a conversational, first-person voice to make union organizing and worker rights feel immediate and relatable rather than abstract.

Carousels

I designed and wrote multi-slide carousel posts translating AFSCME's organizing wins and political advocacy into shareable, easy-to-follow social content — pairing photography from the field with clear, scannable copy breaking down complex union campaigns for a general audience.

Graphics

I designed a library of branded, on-the-ground graphics for AFSCME's social channels — a consistent visual template (the signature blue-and-green curved frame with the AFSCME logo) applied across dozens of photos from union actions, contract wins, and worksites nationwide, giving the union a cohesive, recognizable look no matter which local or story was being featured.

Memes

I created a running library of meme-format posts for AFSCME's social channels, pairing trending TV/film stills and reaction images with original captions to make union organizing feel native to internet culture rather than like traditional labor messaging.
